Lexi's Beach Bash

Beginning in 2011, Lexi's Beach Bash has been the primary fundraiser for the Alexis Pilkington Memorial Foundation.  It has been held at Cedar Beach (Town of Babylon) and in 2013, due to Hurricane Sandy, moved inland to Lilly Flanagan's in Babylon.  Our hope is to continue to raise awareness about teen suicide and prevention. As a result of these annual events, we have raised over $54,000 with proceeds going to the Long Island Crisis Center, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and many college scholarships to Long Island college bound seniors.

All proceeds from this event supported these charities as well as various educational programs and scholarships that we hope will change lives for the better.  In addition, we are opening our scholarships opportunity to college bound seniors NATIONWIDE!

In addition to raising awareness and funds to support this very important cause, our goal is to bring our community together to once again celebrate Lexi's life and to reach out to other teenagers in need.

Past events featured the No Request Band and the Suffolk County Police Pipe Band.

During the past few years, we have focused very hard on helping others and now we are brave enough to acknowledge that it is time for us to redirect some of our energy into helping ourselves heal as a family, whatever that may mean. With that being said, we have decided to take a break from holding Lexi's Beach Bash. However, we will continue to hold smaller scale fundraisers and offer scholarships in Lexi's name. Thank you all again for your amazing support and understanding during this heartbreaking time. We will continue to GIVE EVERYTHING BUT UP on our journey of finding our "new normal". We will remain brave knowing we have an angel by our side.
